2011 marked our 3rd year of business where we saw growth of 75% over 2010. Here are some highlights from 2011:

Even though humidors are crowded and the industry is saturated with great cigars, over 140 reputable tobacconists have filled their large gauge cigar void with Marco V’s. This speaks to the value and quality of our cigars.

We have a lot of exciting things coming in 2012 that will not only diversify our portfolio but also complement the products that we currently offer. One debut that is coming soon will be the 2012 launch of our MV NFUZE (infused) cigars. Under this brand we are marrying the current products in our portfolio. Our first releases under this umbrella will be the Vintage 2007 Porto infused Cigar, the Dom Gourmet Café infused cigar, and the MV Cognac infused cigar.

In late 2012 will be introducing the first large gauge high-end premium brand called the Marco V Vintage X. The first release will be the 1812 and will be only available in the Salomon size format. Each release from this brand will be extremely limited and each bundle will be numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Also, in the highlights of 2011 we mentioned that we launched the first National Marco V Cigar Lounge in Downtown St. Paul, MN. In 2012 will be announcing two other national Marco V Cigar Lounges. More details on this will be released in January of 2012.

Marco V Co. values each customer and their input no matter if it is positive or constructive. We have created different platforms for customers to stay informed, share, give feedback, and comment on all things Marco V. These platforms include Marco V TV on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. Customer reviews will also continue to be vital to our business. This puts proof behind what we are selling, and gives the customer confidence that they are buying a good product for a good value.

When people look for high end gourmet coffee, the last place they should buy it is at the grocery store or any facility that has big distribution. The reason for this is that roasted coffee beans goes stale quickly. Most roasted coffee beans that are sitting on the shelves in grocery stores have been roasted more than 6 months ago. All of this coffee is stale and cheating the customer out of the true flavors of fresh coffee.

We have a unique business model with our coffee. We roast our coffee weekly with the orders that we receive from the previous week. This way we provide fresh coffee beans and guarantee that the coffee was never roasted more than a week ago.

Marco V Cigars is excited to launch a new brand that will house our one-of-a-kind proprietary infused cigars.

The brand will be called MVNFUZE and will be only available through select authorized retailers.

The label will be the traditional gold with black embossed letters.

We will be throwing a launch party to kick off our first national branded lounge.

September has been a very active month for Marco V Cigars. We had a lot of great events where we had the chance to interact with Marco V fans and introduce our products to people who have not had a chance to try them. Here is a brief run down of the events we attended in September.

Lift Bridge Brewery - we provided our full line of cigars to complement the Hop Picking Event at the brewery in Stillwater, MN. This boutique brewery is one worth checking out.

Chateau St. Croix - we had a booth at the Chateau's Fall Festival where we were able to sample the pairing of our Marco V Cigars and Marco V Vintage Port

Charity Golf Tournaments - we were the cigar vendor for 3 charity golf tournaments in September where we were able to provide premium cigars to the golfers while also giving something back to the community.

Hillcrest Pro Am - This Friday, we are the cigar partner for the Morrissey Group who is hosting the Minnesota Pro Am at Hillcrest Country Club in St. Paul Minnesota

Minnesota Made - We were able to showcase our cigars, port, coffee, and glassware at this event that featured local companies with high quality products.

Titan Fest - this event in Maryland featured the Marco V Cigar and Vintage Port pairing among other premium cigar brands.

Launch of the V-Class

Marco V Cigars Event Recap - Week of 8/15

The week of 8/15 was highlighted by two intimate events where we were able to interact with our customers at two unqiue venues.

The first one took place up near the Canadian border. We were at the beautiful resort of Northern Lights on Lake Kabetogama where we had a Marco V Cigars and Port night. We met some great individuals and enjoyed the sunset right on the water front.

The second event was the first annual Little Havana St. Paul Saints Cigar smoker. It was the first time in my life that I was able to smoke a cigar while watching baseball in an outdoor stadium. It is great to know they haven't taken all of our cigar smoking rights away. The owner of Little Havana, Steve Johnson, put out a really nice spread of food and beverage.

We are really proud to announce the Marco V Cigar Lounge in St. Paul, MN.

The new lounge will be located in Downtown St. Paul on West 7th right next to the Xcel Energy Center. We have partnered with Golden Leaf Tobacco LTD to convert their lounge into the first Marco V branded cigar lounge in the US.

The current lounge will be coverted over the next 2 months with an anticipated Grand Opening on October 1st, 2011.

The Marco V Cigar Lounge will be located in a historic building that was built in 1885. The space still has the orignal brick and 20 foot ceilings creating a really surreal ambiance.

The finished space will have contemporary art, leather chairs, and a big screen TV with access to 3 poker rooms. The room will also be a showcase to Marco V products. The room will have a Marco V Coffee and Espresso stand and also will have regular Marco V Vintage port tastings. The humidor will be stocked with all Marco V blends and sizes.

Marco V Cigars - The Next Level

When Marc V. Keiser wrote the business plan for Marco V Cigars, the big goals were to have our cigars rated by Cigar Insider and have our products available at 100 premium tobacconists around the country. Two years after the launch of the business, we hit 100 retailers and on June 21st 2011 Cigar Insider gave the Marco V Platinum blend a score that fell within the "very good to excellent" category of their rating system. This is for a cigar that retails for $6 no matter what B&M you purchase it from around the country. We are very pleased with this score and believe that is puts proof behind what we have been saying.

Now that we have essentially completed what we call phase I of the business plan, it is time to take Marco V Cigars to the next level. For the first time since launching the business with our three blends, Marco V Cigars will be launching a new blend that, we feel, will be our most popular cigar blend to date. The new blend will be called the Marco V Havana. We can't wait for you to try it. We will be debuting these cigars at this years IPCPR in July.

Marco V Classico 2011

In 2010, Marco V Cigars started a tradition called the Marco V Classico. The Classico is a Golf Tournament and Reception to celebrate the brand and to appreciate our loyal retailers and customers. On June 4th, 2011 the tradition continued with the 2nd annual Classico held at the prestigious Tartan Park. The weather was stunning which provided the perfect backdrop for the 104 golfers to compete for the heralded Marco V Cup. The Marco V Cup is a magnificent 26” tall trophy with a rich Mahogany wood base inscribed with the crest of Marco V at the base. The winners from each year are permanently etched into the base of the trophy to become a piece of Marco V history. This year’s winners shot a 10 under 62 captained by Marco V intern Derek Smith. A reception followed which included a barbecue, award ceremony, and speeches by Marco V and Tom Harlan, the owner of Golden Leaf LTD in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Look for the 3rd annual Marco V Classico next year in early June.

Marco V Cigar Dom Café

In 2011 we launched our Marco V “DOM” Espresso Roasted Coffee Beans which are intended to be paired with our Marco V Dom Grand Reserve cigar blend. It is a deliciously satisfying combination in flavors that took us 6 months to develop. This is the second product launch in our Paired Industry Category, the first being our Marco V Vintage Port paired with our Platinum Grand Reserve blend. In 2012, we will pair our Brazilian Grand Reserve blend with a Dominican Rum.

Marco V Vintage Port

We launched our Marco V Vintage 2007 Cigar Port last year and it has been a success. We are on our 4th bottling and Southern Spirits has picked up the brand to be distributed nationally. We are very excited about this partnership and hope that you get a chance to try this wonderful wine. We also have plans to introduce a Cigar Zin that will retail under $10.

Glassware

In 2010, Marco V Co. launched our Glassware product line. The inspiration behind this launch was that we wanted premium vessels to consume our products. As a result, we sought out high quality, unique glassware specifically designed to accompany our Marco V products. Our first launch in this category was our 16th century Port glasses. The next launch will be our thermo espresso glassware. We also have plans to introduce a completely unique, patent-pending, whiskey glass in 2012.

Marco V CAM

Later this year, we will launch a new size and blend combination under the M. Vito x Marco V brand. This will be the same shape as our Fabuloso Cuban Perfecto but it will be about half the size. We will use an incredibly high quality Dominican longfiller blend and binder and will wrap it with a sweet high end Cameroon wrapper.

Filled with significance, the official seal of Marco V Cigars contains symbols that provide a contextual glimpse into the Marco V Cigars story.

The first symbol that catches your eye is the large "M" which is called the "MARC".

The "MARC" is essentially a representation of our brand. The 3 points of the M (top left, top right, and middle) display a V which represents the 3 foundational aspects of our business:

- Guaranteed quality
- Innovation (the niche)
- Tradition (the blends)

When you pick up any product with the "MARC" on it, you can guarantee that it embodies these three elements. You can also guarantee that you will get your money's worth. We put an absolute premium on quality by going as far as to GUARANTEE the quality on every single Marco V Cigar that leaves the factory.

At the top of the seal you will see a crown.

This crown represents the "Marco V Empire" which is the small busiensses that carry our product. We have 100 unique Premium Tobacconists nationally that sell our cigars that we believe are in line with the mission and values of our company. We do not sell online or in discount catalogs - so this Empire means something special.

The two swords represent our battle to protect the Cigar Rights of America. Our business was launched to empower the tax abused premium cigar smoker. We proved this by launching in a state that observes a 70% tobacco tax.

In the center of the seal, you will see a shield.

Marco literally means defender or war-like. Our goal is to preserve the boutique nature of a business in an industry that is dominated by HUGE CORPORATE TOBACCO CONGLOMERATES.

On each side of the shield you will see leaves.

These leaves represent the tobacco we use. When we started the business, we made a commitment to only use the highest quality tobacco without compromise. All of our tobacco goes through a rigorous inspection process and multiple stage quality control process. All of our tobacco is aged at least 4 years and rolled by professional cigar rollers with at least 15 years of experience each.

Marco V Vintage Port - 1 Year After the Launch

In March of 2010, Marco V Cigars officially launched the Marco V Vintage Port 2007. The Marco V Vintage Port is a premium port style wine specifically designed to be paired with the Marco V Platinum Grand Reserve Cigar.

The goal was to enhance the cigar smoking experience by providing the perfect beverage while indulging in your favorite cigar.

Our Port is made at the Chateau St. Croix, which is an incredible European Stlye Winery that blends grapes from the best growing regions around the world. The Marco V Vintage 2007 is sampled daily at the winery.

Last March, we bottled our inagural 200 bottle batch which sold out quickly. Since then, we have done more micro batch bottlings and have recently prepared 1000 bottles for the Spring.

Like our Cigars, this Port is made in small batches to ensure the highest quality wine. The Marco V Vintage Port has a nutty aroma, hints of cedar, sweet tobacco, clean oak, and a lot of spice.

The Marco V Vintage Port 2007 was recently picked up by Southern Distributors which is one of the biggest premium wine distributors in the nation. Our Port is now distributed nationally.

What is a micro lot boutique?

A micro lot boutique focuses strictly on the quality of the product by working with small batches or lots.

For our cigars...

We use small lots of high quality, low yielding tobacco for 3 main reasons. 1.) The big brands stay away from these tobaccos, despite being incredibly high quality tobacco, because the yield is too low to support the volume of cigars they produce. 2.) We can inspect every step of the cigar making process to ensure every single cigar that leaves our factory is the highest quality possible. 3.) We can create high quality, unique blends that you won't find anywhere else in the market.

For our Port...

Our grapes are grown in micro lots, grown on tiny farms in California, and inspected to ensure that only the highest quality grapes are brought back to the Chateau.

For our Coffee.

Our coffee is truly an Artisan coffee. We use only the very rarest of coffee beans grown on micro farms, processed in micro mills, roasted at a micro Roaster. Our coffee is only available in micro lots. It’s a specialty grade coffee that is at the very top of the quality and flavor scales.

Our DOM Cafe

Some common coffee brands that might come to mind are Folgers, Maxwell House, Hills Brothers, MJB and a few others.
These brands use beans called Robusta. Robusta beans are at the low end of the quality and flavor spectrum.

Some familiar coffee brands that people might consider to be better than the brands that use Robusta are Caribou, Starbucks, Camerons, and McGarvey’s to name a few. These are considered Arabica coffees and they would be a bit higher up on the quality and flavor scales than Robusta.

However, these are all commercial grade, commodity based coffees that only come in 37,000 pound containers and because the margins are so low, they have to focus on one thing…VOLUME.

The Marco V Dom Café is truly an Artisan coffee. We use only the very rarest of coffees. It’s a specialty grade coffee that is at the very top of the quality and flavor scales.
Grown on Micro Farms, Processed in Micro Mills, Roasted at Micro Roasters, it’s only available in Micro Lots.
The quality and flavor are the only focus with these coffees.
The beans that make up the Dom Café are grown in 5 different countries: Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Brazil, and Columbia. These beans were specifically blended to go with a Marco V Dom Cigar.
Our local Micro Roaster has an old world, German built, all cast iron, roaster that is operated by Kevin, who has over 17 years experience roasting coffee.

A new event is planned!!! We are partnering up with Little Havana to host the first annual tail gating cigar smoke out with the Saint Paul Saints on Saturday 4PM July 23rd at Midway Field. If you choose to participate, here are the details. We have space for 80 people. $35 for the early bird special from now till June 1rst or $40 thereafter. You must be 21 and prepay to reserve a space - no exceptions (Since we have already paid for the tickets). Here is what you get for your $35:
1. Pre-game cigar warm up/load up party at Little Havana from 1:30PM - 3PM.
2. Tail gating space in the St. Paul Saints Pavilion just for our group with some reserved parking spaces.
3. Bar-B-Q dinner with all the fixings expertly prepared by Leah and friends.
4. Three Kegs of beer to kill or bring your favorite spirit in a flask.
5. Mixers - Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Ginger Ale, bottled water and ice.

On Monday February 21st, Marco V Cigars & Co. was honored to be a part of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine's Annual Best of the Best Party.

We had a corner table set-up overlooking downtown Minneapolis on the 50th floor of the IDS Tower. About 800 people braved the weather to come out and sample dishes and drinks from some of the best restaurants in the area. We had a blast and were able to raise money for a great charity called Second Harvest Heartland.

At the event we had a special on all of our Cigars, Port, Glassware, and Accessories.

Marco V Cigars Co. continues to be dedicated to empowering the B&M cigar shops around the country. This is the foundation of the cigar industry and where cigars should be purchased. Marco V Cigars Co. strategy over the next 3 years will be to align with 100 B&M retailers around the country that are in line with our core values. We will cap it at 100 stores to focus on customer service, quality, and listening to what the customer wants.

Marco V Cigar Dom Café

In 2011 we will introduce our Marco V “DOM” Espresso Roasted Coffee Beans which are intended to be paired with our Marco V Dom Grand Reserve cigar blend. It is a deliciously satisfying combination in flavors. This is the second product launch in our paired industry category, the first being our Marco V Vintage Port paired with our Platinum Grand Reserve blend. In 2012, we will pair our Brazilian Grand Reserve blend with a Dominican Rum.

Glassware

In 2010, Marco V Co. launched our Glassware product line. The inspiration behind this launch was the fact that we wanted glassware that was different from what the women in our lives were using. We sought out high quality, unique glassware specifically designed to accompany our Marco V products. Our first launch in this category was our 16th century Port glasses. The next launch will be our thermo espresso glassware. In 2012, we will introduce our oversized rum and scotch snifters.

Marco V CAM

In 2011, we will launch a new size and blend combination under the M. Vito x Marco V brand. This will be the same shape as our Fabuloso Cuban Perfecto but it will be about half the size. We will use an incredibly high quality Dominican longfiller blend and binder and will wrap it with a sweet Cameroon wrapper. As with all of our cigars, our MSRP on this cigar will be $6.

The Future

Marco V Cigars has established a solid and stable base in its infancy. It is that solid base that will be the launching pad for this exciting new business. We hope our customer base will continue to grow and find value and excitement in our brand and products. We will continue to establish credibility and come to a store near you.

The First Annual Marco V Classico

On August 28th we made history. We had the first Annual Marco V Golf Classico.

This was a private event held at Tartan Golf Club and Park in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.

This was an event to recognize the people that have supported the company from day one.

We had a golf outing, gave over $1000 in prizes, and collected food for the local food shelf.

Marco V gave an update on the success of the business and sampled the full portfolio of cigars, port, and exhibited the brand new Marco V X Espresso and Marco V Vice Glassware collection.

We had perfect weather and it was a beautiful start to a long tradition.

New Orleans is a great town and we even enjoyed seafood from the Gulf with no problems.

At the show, we were able to shake the hands of the people that make this industry happen- the small business retail owners.

We were able to establish relationships with many retailers from all corners of the USA which means Marco V Cigars will be available outside of the midwest.

Introducing M. Vito by Marco V Cigars

M. Vito Fabuloso Reserve - 48 x 6"

This is the first look at the newest cigar by Marco V Cigars Co. This is a two blend line under the new brand M. Vito Reserve. The M. Vito brand will house a portfolio of boutique cigar sizes all under 50 ring gauge. Under the Marco V Co. umbrella, M. Vito will house the small gauge cigars and Marco V will house the large gauge cigars. The M. Vito brand was designed for the cigar smoker who likes the blends and the price point of Marco V Cigars but does not love the huge ring gauge. All cigars released by Marco V Cigars Co. will be unique sizes that preserve the boutique nature of the brand.

The first line released under M. Vito is the Fabuloso Reserve. This Fabuloso is 6 inches long, has a chiseled head, and a nipple foot. The gauge unjulates throughout the whole cigar, designed to create complexity as the wrapper/ filler ratio changes throughout the smoking experience. This is an incredibly difficult roll at the factory and has nearly the same amount of tobacco as our V. Gigantes. The Fabuloso Reserve line currently has two blends, medium-full and mild. These blends are the same blends as the Platinum and Dom Grand Reserve in the V. Gigante. However, because of the wrapper/filler ratio is different, it is a completely different smoke and flavor. The new M. Vito cigars are appropriately called the M. Vito Platinum Reserve and the M. Vito Dom Reserve

All cigars released by Marco V Cigars Co. have an MSRP of $6. The M. Vito is no exception.

These cigars are currently under limited release and are selling fast at select stores.

Great Vacation in Rio De Janerio

We just returned from Rio De Janerio, Brazil and wanted to share a trip itinerary with you if Brazil is or could be on your vacation radar:

Before we get into the intinery I want to give one piece of advice -- DON'T BELIEVE THE SCARE TACTICS ON THE INTERNET. The hype written on the Internet about crime and lack of safety in Rio is poisonous-- as it is keeping people away from this must see tourist destination. Rio has incredibly beautiful beaches, breathtaking icons/ sights, and unbelievable cuisine, drink, and Cuban cigars. Rio has been taking great strides to make all tourists and locals feel safe and enjoy what this Marvelous City has to offer. Like in any big city, make good decisions and you will not have an issue:

Book a hotel on Ipanema Beach - this is one of the huge beaches in the tourist part of Rio. There are great shops, great restaurants, and it is very safe.

Day 1: Arrive in Rio and grab a taxi to Ipanema. Check into your hotel throw your stuff down and head to the beach. A couple Brazilian Reais later you have a beach chair, a couple more a standing umbrella to shade the sun, and a couple more you will be drinking out of coconut while taking in the view with a cigar. Make a reservation at Zaza Bistro for wonderful French/ Indian cuisine to cap the night.

Day 2: Start the day out at the beach again then head to Leblon in the early afternoon. Eat at Esche Cafe which is also a Cuban cigar bar. You can smoke a Cuban, drink port and espresso and also eat a sandwich. From there go to Maracana Futbol stadium for a soccer game at night. Take a 30 minute taxi ride to the stadium and purchase tickets or go with a tour group. Either will work fine and get you in the mix of some hardcore futbol fans. You have to experience this game, the stadium is electric and has a pulse. These fans are amazing. Book a dinner at Sushi Leblon and discuss what you just saw at the game.

Day 3: Start your day taking in a duplo espresso at Caffinea, a wonderful coffee shop with great espresso. From there wander around the boutiques and shops in the streets of Ipanema where there are also great restaurants to eat lunch. For the dinner that night make sure you hit Mio's. This Soporanos type restaurant will make you feel like Tony. Servers stand in 3 piece suits waiting for what ever you will need next. Upstairs is a huge wine collection and fully stocked humidor. The food is to die for -- try the handmade raviolis.

Day 4: Start your day off at Armezon Cafe shop with a duplo espresso - another great coffee shop. From there go see Cristo Redentor in Corcovado. This is the Jesus Statue way up on the top of Rio. Take a taxi to the train station where you take a old school train to the top of Rio. The views will blow you away. End the night at one of my favorite places in Rio, Copa Cafe.

Day 5: Fast all day at the beach for your dinner at Porcao. Watch the sunset with a cigar at Arpoador Point. This gives you breathtaking views of Ipanema beach and Arpoador beach. Then head to the Brazillian steakhouse Porcao to eat as much meat as you possibly can. This can be a full day event.

Day 6: Start your day off again at Caffenia for a duplo espresso. Head to the beach for a couple hours and then go to Sugar loaf at sunset. This is another iconic, must see sight in Rio. Take a 10 minute taxi right to the tram station. You need to take 2 (high up) trams suspended on cables to the summit of Sugar Loaf. Up there enjoy the sunset and more breathtaking views. Take the trams back down and debrief at Bar Urca which is a short taxi ride away in the same neighborhood. From there make dinner reservations at Yoruba, a Bahia restaurant with some "only in Brazil" type foods and a relaxing atmosphere.

Day 7: Relax at the beach all day drinking local beer like Skol, Chopp, or Devassa and smoke some Cubans. This is the last day --- take it all in.

M. Vito Robustos

Marco V Cigars is launching a new brand. M. VITO. This brand will house size formats such as a robusto, toro, and a lancero to exhibit our beautiful wrappers.

First out of the gate is the robustos. These will compliment our V. Gigante line beautifully and will be available is select shops.

This robusto will be called M. Vito Platinum Robusto. They will contain our trademark platinum blend but with more of an emphasis on our rare Arapiracan wrapper.

Like with the V. Gigantes, the label will be dazzling. The label will be a thin gold foil embossed label that will read M. VITO PLATINUM ROBUSTO in black writing.

This is a wonderful smoke, I strongly recommend that you give these a try.

A: The COLLECTION is more of an expression of art than a product extension. The Portfolio

We are unvieling the newest addition to our Marco V Cigar portfolio which will be available late Spring/early Summer:

In just a few months we will be launching the Marco V Salomon XV. In this line there will be a mild and medium bodied blend. The Salomon is a huge cigar tapered at both ends and finished with a nipple foot. The Salomon is larger than a perfecto and smaller than a diadema, it is a difficult size to produce, requiring an uncommon skill level and about twice the rolling time of a normal parejo-style cigar.

These are true celebratory cigars and will have a retail price tag of $8.

Industry Leader

We at Marco V Cigars are incredibly passionate about increasing the standards of the large gauge cigar category. As the cigar industry continues to become monopolized by huge tobacco conglomerates, the art of the large gauge cigar is dying.

Because large gauge cigars contain more tobacco, companies will do one of three things:

1.) Use cheap, poor quality filler to keep costs down
2.) Charge an arm and a leg for the cigar OR
3.) Not offer a large gauge cigar

This article was written nearly 10 years ago about the fat cigar trend. We built this brand because we like smoking large gauge cigars and so do our customers. I am not entirely sure it is a trend. They make the argument that large gauge cigars are a novelty cigar or for special occassions. However, we aim to provide cigars that can be for special occassions or a mainstain in your everyday cigar rotation.

Marco V Cigars Aged Port - Launch Date

It is official...

After much delay, our Marco V Aged Port will be availabe in February 2010.
The hold up was due to our labels needing government approval. We needed to submit a number of revisions to get that label in compliance. The Port is ready and the labels are being printed.

This will be available at a number of premium wine retailers that also carry our cigars. There will also be online purchasing available directly from the winery.

We will be featuring this product along with our cigars at the 2010 IPCPR. Retailers will get to sample our aged port at the show while enjoying our cigars.

We will also be having tastings at premium wine retailers and local tobacconists right after the launch.

2009 Q4 Update/ Communications

Marco V Cigars had another great 3 months of business, continuing to grow organically. Here are some highlights from our fourth quarter:

- Marco V Cigars reached 50 retail locations nationwide. This was our 2009 goal.

- Marco V Cigars had 10 successful events at premium tobacconists and other venues.

- Marco V Cigars Co. had a great write up in multiple magazines and blogs

- Marco V Cigars launched its Chisel Head V. Gigante line of cigars

- Marco V Cigars has evolved its business into multiple divisions

- Marco V Cigars launched a 60 gauge accessories line

As humidors are crowded and the industry is saturated with great cigars, 50 reputable premium cigar tobacconists have put Marco V’s on their shelf. This speaks the value and quality of our cigars.

Going Forward

Marco V Cigars will continue to utilize events at premium tobacconists and other venues to get our product in the customer’s hand. We have ten more events scheduled in Q1. Customer reviews will also be vital to our business. This puts proof behind what we are selling and gives the customer confidence that they are buying a good product for a good value.

Marco V Cigars is outgrowing its current headquarters and will be soon moving into a bigger headquarters in downtown St. Paul. More details will be released on this in Q1. Marco V Cigars Co. continues to be dedicated to empowering the B&M cigar shops around the country. This is the foundation of the cigar industry and where cigars should be purchased. Marco V Cigars Co. strategy over the next 3 years will be to align with 100 B&M retailers around the country that are in line with our core competencies... We will cap it at 100 stores to focus on customer service, quality, and listening to what the customer wants.

Marco V Cigar Port

Our Marco V Cigar Port is currently held up awaiting government approval. We will be having tasting at a number of tobacconists when this is available. This is an exciting venture and will be well worth it when it is launched. Pre-orders of the Cigar Port are available but are limited as the first production run is limited. Accessories

Marco V Cigars Co. launched a 60 gauge accessories line that can be purchased directly from our website. This was launched in response to customers expressing frustration that their current accessories were too small to support their 60 gauge cigar hobby. We’ve worked with Cuban Crafters, Blue Rhino, and Stinky’s Ashtrays to provide you high quality accessories that support 60 gauge cigars.

Chisel Head V. Gigante

In Q4, we launched the first new size to the V. Gigante line since the beginning of the business. This size addition was in response to the fact that our V. Gigantes, a fat 60 x 5 cigar, can be a jaw breaker. This new size is essentially a huge figurado. It is still a 60 gauge cigar but comes to a chiseled head at about a 54 ring gauge in the mouth.

Our Pipeline

Our V. Gigante line had its best quarter. All three blends are selling very well. We will continue to offer this three blend line (mild, medium, and meidum-full). We are developing a 4th blend to join the V. Gigante family which will be a unique shade grown wrapper on a true full bodied super aged pure ligero smoke.

In Q2, 2010 we will be introducing the Marco V Cigars Salomon that we have named “15”. This will be a one blend line and will be for special occasions. These will be only available at select retailers to start. This is a huge 60 x 7 smoke with all of the Marco V characteristics. The MSPR on this cigar is $8.

In Q3 2010 Marco V Cigars co. will offer a toro, torpedo, lancero and robusto in a special blend under a new brand called the M. VITO line. This is a new brand that will cater to our customers that love our blends but do not love the huge size.

Also in Q1, Marco V Cigars Co. will introduce our Marco V Aged Port – which is a full bodied dessert wine that was perfectly matched with both of our maduro smokes. This is a truly exciting venture that will make for a great gift or great addition to a holiday celebration. The same quality standards have been applied to our Port.

In 2010 we will introduce our Marco V “The DOM” Premium Coffee which was specifically matched and meant to be consumed with our Marco V Dom Grand Reserve V. Gigante cigar. You will absolutely love this combination. We guarantee it.

Marco V Cigars Co. just returned from a week long trip in South Western Florida. During this visit we went to Estero Island, Naples, Marco Island, Sanibel, and Capitiva. This was a great trip where we met a lot of great people.

Look for our cigars in this area. This is a popular vacation destination for many Minnesota cigar smokers so it makes sense that Marco V Cigars are readily available in this area.

Launch of the 60 Gauge Accessories

Since the birth of our company, we knew, and were reminded by a number of customers, that our 60 gauge Marco V Cigars (V Giangte Line) did not fit or work well with standard cigar accessories.

Here are some of the reasons why standard accessories do not work well with Marco V Cigars:

- Many cigar cases do not fit 60 gauge cigars (the holders are too small)

- Many lighters (single flame/non-wind resistant)have to work extra hard to get the perfect light on our fat cigar.

If the foot isn't properly lit - you will not experience the necessary burn that you should observe with Marco V Cigars.

- Many cutters are too small to cut the end of a 60 gauge cigar.

- Many ashtrays do not support a fat cigar - they are primarily made for cigarettes or smaller gauge cigars

All of these are understandable - but can be frusturating for fat gauge cigar smokers.

Marco V Cigars Co. had the opportunity to have a booth at the prestigous JB Hudson Jewelers private holiday celebration. The event was held on 12/3 and was in appreciation for JB Hudson's top customers. The Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine put on a great party with a number of great vendors.

The Marco V Cigars booth featured a cigar roller and also a display table featuring our holiday 6-packs (2 of each blend). We sold out of the 6-packs and met a lot of great people.
